Our story
A development-first academy, in the UAE.
MS YTCA, also known as Young Talents Cricket Academy, is one of the UAE's established grassroots academies. We were built on a simple belief: that structured, professional coaching changes what a young player can become.
Founded by retired professional cricketer Shehzad Altaf, the academy pairs serious technical coaching with a development-first culture for ages 5 to 19. Cricket leads everything we do, and our pathway has already carried players to the national side and onto international tours.
Our home ground
Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Our academy trains at one of world cricket's most historic venues, right here in the UAE.
Our belief
When a child first steps into our nets, I never look at what they cannot do yet. I look at who they can become. Every young player carries a dream far bigger than they know, and the promise I make to every parent is a simple one. We will treat your child with patience, we will coach them with honesty and we will believe in them on the days they cannot yet believe in themselves, so that one morning they wake up and realize the dream they were once too small to say out loud has quietly become who they are.
